The studio got lucky in discovering actress Cheryl Ladd, who became the perfect substitute for the show’s second run. A versatile actress and a true professional, Ladd became a regular fixture on the show until its last season. Her decision to join the show as Angel Kris Munroe didn’t just turn her into a household name but also one of the highest paid actresses at that time!
After Charlie’s Angels, Ladd moved on to other film and television projects. Still active and as beautiful as ever, the actress is more recently known for portraying the wife of a hotel owner in Las Vegas from 2003 to 2008. She also starred in the film Unforgettable with Katherine Heigl and Rosario Dawson.
