A Nurse Had Trained for Every Emergency, But Then a Bear Showed Up!
Not Cubs, But Kin
“The bear… maybe it was leading us here on purpose,” Peter called, his voice echoing up the well, trembling with realization. Hana leaned closer, the beam of his flashlight cutting through the dark. Shadows danced along the walls, distorted by the flicker of movement below.
She saw them again—those eyes, those strange, trembling bodies. They weren’t bear cubs. That much was clear. But they mattered to the bear. Peter’s voice pulled her back. “Remember the one at the hospital? It was hurt. These might be stuck. They’ve fallen in. We can’t leave them.” Hana nodded slowly, the truth settling in. This was a rescue mission that the bear had started.
