A Silent Deer Interrupted Their Wedding and Changed Everything After
The Noise that didn’t Stop
The rustling didn’t stop. If anything, it grew more deliberate and became too steady to be wind and too heavy for a squirrel. A few guests in the back row finally turned around, expecting a stray dog or a latecomer stumbling through the brush. Their initial smiles faded fast. Whatever moved near the trees wasn’t showing itself fully, but it was there.
It was hidden far enough for them to question their eyes. The guests squinted, leaned in, and exchanged glances as if asking if anyone had definite answers to that noise. No one wanted to interrupt the ceremony, but something lurked in the bushes.
