As the wife of a former president, Michelle Obama always needs to look her best, whether she’s on the red carpet, at a public event, or just appearing on a podcast. However, Obama also wanted to let everyone know that even she has days where she doesn’t want to throw on makeup. So, on her 57th birthday, the former first lady posted a selfie without makeup on.
“Thank you all for the lovely birthday wishes,” Obama captioned the cosmetics-less photo. “I know this past year has been difficult for us all on so many levels, so I just hope you all are taking care of yourselves and finding joy in the smallest moments. Love you all.”
