Chip and Joanna Gaines – 14 Years Together
The hosts of the hit reality TV series Fixer Upper, Chip and Joanna Gaines, first met at the automotive shop run by Joanna’s dad. As the song of Savage Garden goes, “I knew I loved you before I met you,” and the same goes for Chip and Joanna Gaines.
Joanna’s dad made the mistake of putting a photo of the family behind the counter of his shop. The moment Chip saw Joanna in the photo, he knew he’d marry her, and Chip was never wrong about his intuitions. In 2003, the couple finally tied the knot. Joanna once shared in an interview about the struggles of remaining married while working together. According to her, “We really enjoy the problem solving, but there comes a point when we need to focus on us. We have the weekly date nights where we try our hardest not to talk about business.”
