How about “Back to December,” which is everyone’s favorite song on those nights when they wonder what could have been if they hadn’t sabotaged one of the relationships they had in the past? Give it to Taylor for always writing the most relatable songs that tug at our heartstrings.
That song is so authentic because it was inspired by her relationship with actor Taylor Lautner. The two dated in 2009 before the song was released as part of her “Speak Now” album in 2010. And as cute as it is that the two namesakes were once in love, it’s the one time Taylor apologized to an ex in a song.
