Ryan Murphy, the creative force behind television hits like “Glee” and “American Horror Story,” met photographer David Miller in 1996 at Muse, a gay hangout in Los Angeles. They became friends but didn’t start dating until 2010. Their relationship quickly deepened, leading to a private beach wedding in Provincetown, Massachusetts, on July 4, 2012.
The couple has three sons, one of whom was diagnosed with a serious health condition at age two but has since made a full recovery. To express their gratitude, Ryan and David donated $10 million to Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, resulting in a wing being named after their second son.
