John Astin – 92 Years Old
Fans of the iconic show The Addams Family will never fail to recognize actor John Astin, the man who gave life to the beloved character of Gomez Addams on the hit show. It seems Astin was truly born for the role and even provided the voice for Gomez on the 1990 animated version of The Addams Family.
Outside his portrayal of Gomez, Astin has landed numerous roles in other film and television projects, such as West Side Story, Freaky Friday, and National Lampoon’s European Vacation. These days, he’s no longer making movies, as he enjoys his position as director of Theater Arts and Studies Department at the prestigious Johns Hopkins University and as a board director of the Columbia Center for Theatrical Arts.
