Bob Newhart – 92 Years Old

In the 1950s and 1960s, Bob Newhart became America’s favorite standup comedian. People simply loved his dead-pan delivery and incredibly thoughtful jokes. As a stand-up comedian he became a household name, largely thanks to his best-selling album The Button-Down Mind of Bob Newhart. In fact, the record became the first comedy album to nab the number one spot on the Billboard Hot 100 List.
After conquering the stand-up world, Newhart then made the jump to acting, creating and starring in the Bob Newhart Show in the 1970s. Newhart continues working today, most recently starring as Professor Proton in the hit sitcom The Big Bang Theory, for which he earned his first Primetime Emmy Award. Yet another award for the shelf!
