Before she gave birth to her daughter, actress Melanie Griffith, and long before she became Alfred Hitchcock’s all-time muse, legendary actress Tippi Hedren was a Minnesota-born model who moved to New York on her 20th birthday and inked a contract with the Eileen Ford Agency. After a decade of starring on the covers of magazines like Life and Glamour, Hedren shifted her focus to the film industry.
Hedren went on to appear in over 80 films and TV shows, including Charlie Chaplin’s final film A Countless from Hong Kong. Back in 2018, Gucci convinced the legendary model-actress to dust off her old modeling chops! The then 88-year-old starred as a fortune-teller, whom Colin Dodgson photographed cozied up with candles, crystal, and some of Gucci’s new jewels and automatic watches!
