American actress June Lockhart was a pretty huge deal in the 1950s and 1960s. Lockhart is probably best known for her performances in the series Lost in Space, Lassie, and CBS sitcom Petticoat Junction. Two-time Emmy nominee, Lockhart started her career when she was only eight years old in Peter Ibbetson.
Lockhart was also the recipient of a Tony Award and has not one, but two stars in the Hollywood Walk of Fame. At 99 years old, Lockhart still finds the energy to keep her career going. But, with a fortune of $10 million, she doesn’t really need to. However, Lockhart loves acting so much she chooses to! And that’s something worthy of admiration.
