In case you don’t remember, Dolores Hart was a prominent actress back in the late 1950s, capturing the hearts of hundreds of fans in her youth. Incredibly, Hart’s made her film debut in Loving You, alongside the King of Rock’ n’ Roll himself – Elvis Presley! Shortly afterward, she made ten movies in five years, co-starring with stars like George Hamilton and Stephen Boyd.
Despite all of her success as an actress, Hart stunned Hollywood in the 1960s after announcing she would leave the film industry to join the Abbey of Regina Laudis Monastery in Connecticut. After all these years, Hart still feels she is right where she is supposed to be, and that’s great!
