Even though most of her income came from her acting career, MacLaine is also a best-selling author. Not only is she an Oscar-winning actress, but she has also won ten Emmys and three Golden Globes.
Back in 2013, MacLaine received the Kennedy Center Honored for her lifetime contribution to the American culture. Furthermore, MacLaine has starred in several hits films, including Steel Magnolias.
