Robert Redford – Passed Away in 2025
It’s amazing to see actors doing well both in front of the camera and behind the camera, such as Robert Redford, who enjoyed both worlds. Before he ventured into directing films, however, Redford was an amazing actor. With films like The Voice of Charlie Point, Inside Daisy Clover, and Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, he became known for his spectacular performances.
But Redford didn’t stop there. He ventured into directing and earned himself two Academy Award nominations for Best Director in 1980 for Ordinary People and again in 1995 for Quiz Show. Fun fact: it was Redford who co-founded the internationally famous Sundance Film Festival! Redford passed away in his sleep in September 2025, leaving behind an amazing career.
