Although their college training gave them the tools to teach, stepping into a real classroom came with new dynamics. At Sunnyside Elementary, the focus wasn’t just on their qualifications. The priority was helping students feel at ease. The school planned a thoughtful introduction that gave kids a chance to adjust. Two sessions were held.
One allowed students to ask the twins questions directly, while the other gave them space to express any feelings or concerns privately. Their honest, kind answers helped clear the air. The walls came down quickly. Curiosity turned into enthusiasm. By the end, students were simply excited to learn with two teachers who made learning feel fresh and fun.
