The Airplane Graveyard of Kwajalein Atoll has over 25 ships and nearly 170 airplanes in it. The airplanes that Mueller discovered include the F4U Corsair, one of the most iconic planes of World War II. Incredibly, it landed with its nose in the sand and has somehow remained upright for more than seven decades, as you can see in the photo.

During her dive, Mueller also captured pictures of other long-sought-after American airplanes, including Curtiss C-46 Commandos, F4F Wildcats, Helldivers, and B-25 Mitchells! The photographer even snapped some photos of the legendary Douglas SBD Dauntless dive bomber, once thought lost to time!
