As Mueller developed her photographs, she could not wait to share them with the rest of the world. However, as she developed the images, a question continued to creep into the back of her mind: should she even share the photos with anyone else? What if the pictures got her into trouble? So, the photographer decided to research the planes before posting her find on the internet.
While doing some research on the planes, Mueller quickly realized that the aircraft had to come from World War II. Soon, she was nose-deep in books and websites on military history. That’s when the diver found out she had solved one of the biggest mysteries of the Second World War!
